Lacie's Story...
My story: Lacie is a Napoleon cat, she is a cross between a Munchkin and a Persian/Himilayan. Lacie is deaf. She was a cat that was going to be used for breeding so she was no longer needed and that is why she was brought home temporarily. The owner cannot keep Lacie due to travel and work. Her beautiful blue eyes and cute little paws make her just huggable! Lacie was born in May of 2010, she will be turning two soon. Lacie has a quiet nature, she does well with individual attention and is very independent at the same time. Lacie only needs a good home and a peaceful and loving environment.
Special Needs: Deaf - Needs quiet home
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: No | Good with Children: Unknown

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacie, a Tampa Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
