My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is a very pretty Labrador Retriever mix. She is around 2 years old. Piper is sweet and loves to cuddle. She is very smart and responds well to consistent training and loving leadership. Piper loves squeaky toys, balls, bones and loves the out of doors. However, it would be best for her not to have a doggy door -- that is for her to be inside when you are not home to supervise her in the yard. She is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night if you want her to.

Fair warning: Piper is not perfect. "Well, come on, who is?!" She is a champion counter surfer -- and will even take dishes out of the sink! Piper is also timid around unknown people, and will bark at them. Piper needs a lot of structure, no pushovers! As well as desensitization training for her reactivity to other dogs that she meet in the neighborhood on walks and the like. Piper needs a forever family with dog savvy older children, 12 + years old, and she needs to be your solo dog.
