Chopper's Story...
Rescued on 10.31.11 from Orange County Animal Services. He is about 7 months old, utd on shots, neutered and micro-chipped. He will be mange free in a few weeks!
Anyone looking for a young, calm, very well behaved dog please keep Chopper in mind. He does well on a leash, doesn't pull at all. Doesn't like to be on the furniture even when you ask him up. Is great with kids, cats and dogs. He does well meeting strangers. Over his gulping food stage and will sit and wait politely to be told to eat.
Our Chopper is going to be one handsome boy!!! A few more weeks till his mange is cleared up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chopper, a Orlando American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Orlando, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
