Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maggie's Story...
Maggie is an approximately 4 year old German Shepherd Dog who was turned into a shelter in Kentucky when her family divorced. Maggie was confused and stressed while in the shelter and luckily BDBH was notified and stepped in to help Maggie find a new, perfect, forever home.

Maggie is very sweet and sensitive girl who really would love a family who will provide her love, guidance and training. Maggie would do best in home experienced with sensitive dogs as Maggie is adjusting to her new surroundings and getting to know the rules and boundaries of her foster home. A confident and experienced handler would be ideal for Maggie. She is currently living within a home with other dogs and does well.

If you are looking for a loyal, sweet and intelligent GSD, Maggie is a perfect fit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
