Blair's Story...
Blair
I am a friendly and social girl - great with people and dogs, something I practice a lot at Santa Fe Tails Dog Academy & Daycare. I love it there but am ready to be in my own home.
Because I developed urinary incontinence while at the shelter, they decided they couldn't help me with a home, so some good people got together and pulled me out of there. My treatment is about $25 a month and it manages the dribbles very well.

I am 4 years or so old with plenty of energy, but am very calm on a leash, happy to sniff the air, watch the bicyclists ride by and sit politely when people want to give me love.

I am spayed, have all my shots and am microchipped.

Please contact Martha Kennedy at martha@demk.org if interested in Blair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blair, a Santa Fe Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
