Clifford's Story...
Clifford the little red dog is looking for his forever home. He is a shy, quiet boy that loves to snuggle. He gets along great with other dogs even ones bigger than him. He shares his toys / food well and has not shown any aggression towards caged birds, kids or cats. He has been nuetered and is crate trained. Clifford is timid at first, but warms up quickly and has no problem being picked up and handled. His hair is a bit short in the pictures as he recently had his first spa day. If you are looking for a little buddy Clifford is waiting for you to take him home. Clifford weighs 29 pounds -- you can view more photos of him at: http://acsrwa.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=12869987 Clifford's adoption fee is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clifford, a Tacoma Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
