Trevor's Story...
Mouse, Blue, Trevor, and Willie are 2 month old beagle mix puppies that were abandoned at the animal shelter when they were only 3 weeks old without their mother. A shelter volunteer took them home and fed them to keep them alive and now they are big enough to be adopted.

The four brothers are healthy, current on their vaccinations, and been dewormed. They are expected to be small to medium sized dogs as adults. Mouse and Blue are black and white, Mouse being the smaller of the two. Trevor is black and tan and Willie is tan and white. All of the boys will be neutered prior to going to their new homes. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trevor, a Brattleboro Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
