Tristan's Story...
Our lovely little Beagle boy is shown in our photos shortly after arriving at our shelter and having been treated for injuries. He was found cowering in a roadside ditch and picked up by Good Samaritans. We do not know if Tris was hit by a car or thrown from a moving vehicle but he did sustain some cuts and abrasions, and general soreness, although thankfully no broken bones. He is a sweet, gentle soul who may have been abused in the past but we are looking forward to finding him a loving home free from fear.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tristan, a Pisgah Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Pisgah, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Pisgah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pisgah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pisgah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pisgah paves the way for another one to be saved.
