My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you watch Ms. Maggie's video yet?! How sweet is she? She just loves to have her belly rubbed, almost as much as she loves to go for walks! And since Maggie is a little more "big boned" then we'd like her to be, walks are a great thing to help thin her down a bit.

You may have also noticed that our sweet girl has had a bit of a sad life. You see in her young life she has already been abandoned at least twice. She came into the pound back in 2009 as a stray, got adopted but then returned back to the same pound at the beginning of this year. Her last owners stated they couldn't take care of her anymore. While this is very sad, thankfully it hasn't effective our sweet girls demeanor. She is a loving, sweet gal who just wanted to be loved - oh and of course have daily belly rubs and walks!

So if you're looking for a walking companion and someone to share the sofa with, look no further - Maggie is the gal for you! How can you resist those precious brown eyes?! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Maggie weighed 28.8 pounds when we saved her from the kill list. Maggie was adopted from the pound 5/09 only to be returned in 1/12. The adopters said they couldn't take care of her any longer.
