Ruby's Story...
Come visit me at the Petsmart in Duluth. What my previous owner had to say about me:

This is Ruby. She is the sweetest cat in the world. Loves to be close and cuddle. Not real fond of cold and rainy weather, although loves to lounge on the patio on a sunny afternoon. Stays close and really loves to just hang out with you indoors most of the time. She's not a tiny little thing in size but seems to be very timid in her personality. Ruby is spayed and is up to date on all of her shots. She is seen at Winder Animal Hospital and they are so great there. I hate to see her go but I already have a cat and Ruby needs her own family. I've been keeping her while my daughter was transitioning into a new place and she will be living with several girls who are allergic to cats. It really breaks our heart to have to adopt her out but I know that she needs a new loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Winder Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Winder, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
