Lucy's Story...
Come visit me at the Petsmart in Duluth. Here is what my previous owner had to say about me:

Lucy was a year old in June of 2011. We've had her since she was a kitten. She actually belongs to my daughter who has moved in with girls who are allergic to Lucy and I have a cat of my own that needs my attention. Lucy is a little spit fire. She is so much fun to have around. She is so full of herself and seems to be the boss of everything. Lucy has been spayed and is up to date on all of her shots. She is seen at Winder Animal Hospital and they are so great with her. She eats Science Diet cat food and I keep it out for her all the time. She nibbles throughout the day but doesn't over eat. Only dry cat food as it helps with catbox odor and digestion. Lucy is a calico and has really silky feeling fur. She is so much fun to have around. I wish I could keep her but she needs her own home away from my cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Winder Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Winder, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
