My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Murphy is a happy and playful boy who absolutely LOVES to play fetch !!! He would love a kid (big or little) to play ball with. He'll run after the ball as long as you will throw it for him. He has mastered catching the ball on a bounce and has even caught it on the fly a few times. We really need to try him with a frisbee. Murphy is a very "tidy" dog. He is completely housebroken, but in addition to that he does things like put his bowl away when he is finished eating. He even washes his ball off when it gets dirty. He plays wonderfully with the other dogs - he's got that goofy, lovable personality that everyone loves - just a real joy to be around. He walks nicely on a leash and is so sweet when he sits up next to you. He's just a very lovable guy. Smart, sweet, playful and a neat freak...what more could you ask for in a canine companion??
Murphy is not quite a year old and came to us from a shelter in Kentucky. The shelter staff just fell in love with him and worked hard to find a rescue group that could help him find a forever home. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
