Great Dane Rescue of the Carolinas, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing abandoned Great Danes from North and South Carolina in safe & loving homes.
Founded in 1984, Great Dane Rescue of the Carolinas, Inc. is devoted to saving beautiful gentle giants and educating the public on the growing problem with abandonment, abuse, and surrender. We are a no-kill shelter and support spay neuter programs.
Great Dane Rescue of the Carolina's is funded 100% by donations. With an ever growing number of dogs in need, we need continued support and assistance for medical care & housing during the adoption process.

We find people for Great Danes, not Great Danes for people.
Rescued Danes need your help! Great Dane Rescue of the Carolinas is operated on soley the generosity of others. Big or small, every donation helps in our ability to care for these animals. 100% of your donation goes to the care of our animals. Our organization is 100% run by volunteers. Please help us feed, shelter and provide medical care to these animals who have been abused, lost, or surrendered until they find new homes. Your contribution will make a difference! We have open house the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm (weather permitting).
Home visit and vetcheck are required to adopt from our rescue. Adoption Contract is required.
Adoption fees are listed below:
■Great Dane Puppies up to 12 months: $400
■Great Dane & GD mixes 1 - 5 years: $350
■Great Dane & GD mixes over 5 years: $250
■All other mixed breed dogs: $150
