Hi! My name is Ivy Blue! I am a 14 week old Boxer/Border Collie mix. I am so lucky to be in rescue! My previous owners didn’t have much regard for me. They tied me up outside where I was left day and night without any shelter, nourishment or companionship. Boy it was cold! This is no way to start out life! Lucky for me some kind people took me in and now I am safe and sound! The volunteers at the shelter tell me that life will be good from here on out! They promised me that soon I would have a family to call my own; a family that will love me just as much as I love them! I can’t think of anything better and I can’t wait to finally go home! Let me tell you more about myself. I have so much love to give and I’m very affectionate! I love everyone I meet! I especially love children! I love watching their smiles grow when I lick their faces! It just makes me so happy! I would be a perfect family pet! I don’t jump up at all! When people approach me, I sit nicely and wait for them to come greet me! Aren’t I well behaved! Remember, I’m just a puppy too! Everyone says that I’m a very well behaved girl! I get along great with other dogs and love to play. I’ve already got a jump start on crate training and housetraining. I am super smart so I will have this mastered in no time at all! I am healthy and current on all of my vaccinations. I have been spayed and I have a microchip. I am currently in Louisiana but transport is available to the northeast at no additional charge.
