Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Homer is a 3 y/o male who is a private surrender. He has been under the care of PVPR since December of 2011. While in foster care he underwent a cervical decompression surgery along with treatment for meningitis. The surgery and testing have left a scar on his neck and a shaved area on his back but he is still cute as a button. He has responded well to his medical treatment but is currently on prednisone. He is scheduled to follow up with the neurologist in February and will be assessed for neutering at that time.
Homer is housebroken and uses a doggy door at his foster home. He gets along with both dogs and cats and does well with children. Homer loves lots of attention and is a true lap dog. He weighs 10.5# and has a great appetite. Homer will bring lots of love to whomever is lucky enough to adopt him. If you are interested in adopting Homer complete our on line application on our web site: www.potomacpekes.org We require a home visit and vet reference. We do not ship or transport our pekes. Homer is being fostered in Maryland.
