Dr. Pepper's Story...
Dr. Pepper and his friends were living in a home with over 200 cats. I am sure you can imagine what kind of conditions they were living in. Luckily animal control stepped in and saved them. Many were rescued or adopted, and there were several that had to stay at animal control for a few months until more rescues could help. We recently rescued several cats from 2 other hoarding cases, but we made room for a few more from this case. These cats have such sweet personalities that a few got adopted right away.

Dr. Pepper is hoping he will have the same luck as some of his friends and find a loving home soon as well. He is a curious boy that likes to walk around the shelter, checking everything out. He is very friendly and welcomes all the pets he can get. He would make a wonderful companion because he is very laid back and gets along great with other cats. Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs.
