Hi, I'm Lexi. Some people call me Freeway. Even though I'm only about 5 years old, I've been through a lot. One Halloween night, back when I was homeless, I lost my way and ended up wandering on to the freeway. I got hit by at least 4 cars! My foster mom says I almost didn't survive. I had collapsed lungs, a tear in my trachea, three broken ribs and a dislocated hip. A bunch of really great people took care of me and now I'm good as new! I'm the happiest girl around and enjoy being by your side all the time, especially if we can cuddle; that happens to be my specialty. I LOVE to play fetch more than anything and I'm often seen carrying my toys around with me. You never know when they will be needed and I like to be prepared. I’m pretty friendly as long as you aren’t a cat. I don’t like them one bit! You will really like how safe you will feel when you’re with me. I have a big bark and I'm great at alerting you to danger or anything strange that I see or hear in the yard. You watch out for me and I'll watch out for you; that's what families do! Plus I will do a happy dance every time I see you. It's guaranteed to make you smile. So what do you think? I just know I could be your best friend.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We are foster home based and do not have a primary shelter location. We believe the dogs do best when living in a home environment as members of a family. Please email us to schedule a meeting.
Our Adoption Process...
At Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy, we get to know the traits and personalities of our dogs very well and try to make the best match between dog and pet parent. Pets are for a lifetime. Please be sure to keep this in mind when considering adopting a pet from us.
