Tug's Story...
Tug, his 4 siblings, and his mom were rescued from a crowded shelter in early December. A foster went with our rescuer, and despite having plenty of foster dogs already, she just couldn't leave this family there, so she took them in too. Since we don't know the exact age of the pups, our best estimate is that they will be 8 weeks old on January 12...at that point, the pups and Feebie (Mom, third picture) are available for adoption. At about 6 weeks old, the pups are 2 - 3 lb.s each. Tug is the smallest boy. He loves to play with everyone and everything. He's such a sweetheart! Please visit our website for an online adoption application at www.dogswithoutborders.org and to learn more about our adoption fairs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tug, a Encino Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
