Tucker's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a neutered male, Whippet/Chihuahua mix, approximately 6 months old. Tucker is very finely built and weighs in at just 10 lbs. He came to us with a broken front leg, but is doing well healing after wearing a cast for several weeks. Tucker is very social with both dogs and cats, but is a little timid with people at first - but doesn't take long for him to become your best buddy. He is a snuggle bug who loves to sit really close. Tucker is crate trained and rides nicely in a car, and does well with his housetraining as long as you give him ample time to go outside. He does not like to be outside when it’s cold, but fortunately he will wear a coat nicely. Tucker will be best suited in a family without small children around and where his family will indulge his love of snuggling. Tucker is up to date on his shots and has been microchipped, and is ready to find his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Scottsdale Whippet/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Chihuahua for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Whippet/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Chihuahua breeders who help with Whippet/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
