Charlie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a 4 year old, neutered male Papillon weighing approximately 10 lbs. His medium length coat is soft and requires no grooming other than occasional baths and regular combing. Charlie is a spirited little guy who gets along well with other dogs and is okay with dog-savvy cats. He is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows how to “sit”. Charlie was a bit of a marker for the first few days (perhaps understandable as he came to a home with 5 other dogs), but that behavior has now disappeared. His housetraining improves everyday as he figures out the schedule of his foster home, but is still a little unreliable. Charlie is a little mistrustful of young children and is best suited to an adult home or one with older children who are gentle and respectful of his small size. Charlie has been microchipped and is up to date on his shots and ready to find his forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Scottsdale Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
