I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Danielle is a very sweet, one year old, black lab mix. She only weighs about 38 pounds and shouldn't grow much more, if at all. She was rescued from a local kill shelter because she was just so terrified there. She would just sit in a corner and shake! She has been in our home for a couple of weeks now and she is just blossoming more and more each day.
Danielle is currently living in a home with two other dogs who have been doing an awesome job in teaching Danielle that the world is not such a scary place! (she lives with a cat also and does very well with him). She absolutely LOVES to play the other dogs and she plays fetch with the best of them! She returns the ball every time and tries to drop it at your feet so she can go again (now if she would just teach the other dogs that!) She enjoys her daily walks and is learning good leash manners. Danielle is also starting to master simple commands....she is a very quick learner and seems very intelligent!
Danielle loves playing outside, but wants more than anything just to be with her person. So, even if she is in the middle of a game of chase with other dogs, the second we go to the door to go in, she somehow beats us there! She is the type of dog that is very content just following her person from room to room and laying there until it is time to move again. Danielle is housetrained and sleeps in a crate at night or for short stays during the day. We dont know, but we get the idea that she has spent way too much time in a crate during her short life. She doesn't like getting into the crate, but when she is in, she does excellent.
This little one has only been in our home for a short time. She is still unsure of things, but she is showing great progress daily! We have fostered many dogs over the years, but this one has touched us in a special way....maybe it is because we are seeing changes everyday as she learns to trust, learns to play, learns to enjoy life, just learns to be a happy dog. So, if you have the time and heart to begin a very, very rewarding journey with an amazing soul, then Danielle might just be the perfect fit for you! Danielle is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, heart worm negative and on heart worm prevention.
