Super cute, 4 yr old, 11 lb Wiggles came into rescue when she was dumped in the shelter after her owner died. This was a very scary place for her so she came into rescue.
Wiggles is aptly named as she is wiggly and squirmy and energetic. She bursts into the back yard in the morning and run a couple of laps while the other doxies still haven’t made it to the grass!. Once she gets rid of her energy burst, she settles in for some hunting of squirrels and other small fast moving creatures. Wiggles most definitely wants a home with a yard, preferably with a dog door so she can go hunting and investigating as the urge strikes her.
Adorable Wiggles used to be shy but for the past month she has been fostered by a dog walker. This means Wiggles gets out every day for long walks to all sorts of interesting places and interesting people. What a difference this socialization had made. Wiggles is now confident, loves to greet people and is great with dogs of all sizes.
Wiggles loves going on these walks and while we don’t expect her new home to take her out on 4 hour hikes, she does want a daily walk. She would also enjoy having a canine brother or two for companionship and wrestling matches. No female doxies please. Wiggles is not cat or small critter safe.
Wiggles is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She happily sleeps in a crate at night but lately has been promoted to sleeping in the big bed. (She is great at cuddling!)
