Hoshi's Story...
Hi I’m Hoshi, a 4 year old Japanese Chin. I had a long journey in getting to St.Louis. I was purchased at a puppy mill action in Iowa for a $1, yes my life was worth a $1 to the breeder who owned me. What he didn’t know was that I was actually saved, the nice lady who purchased me was from a rescue. Once she got me out she contacted All About Paws . Many nice people helped transport me 600 miles here to St.Louis where I have an awesome foster home. My foster mom says I’m a really good boy. I’m a bit shy until I get to know you, but once I know I’m safe I’m real lap warmer. Hoshi is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, microchiped, and neutered. Hoshi’s adoption fee is $225.00. For an adoption application, e-mail buckyditsy@yahoo.com. All potential adopters are required to fill out and submit an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed and approved a home visit from a rescue representative is scheduled. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, we no not ship dogs. Come see me

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoshi, a Bridgeton Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
