Camille's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Camille's Story...
Is this a gorgeous cat or what? We estimated Camille was born in March 2011 and she was surrendered to PAWS earlier this month after being kept by a young girl who found her and searched for a month for her owner. It was hard to believe this sweetie pie didn't belong to someone. She is a very laid back kittie with big blue, slightly crossed eyes. She is easy to hold, is fine with other cats and dogs and will make someone a great companion for life. Hurry if you are interested in her... she won't last long with a cute little face like this!

All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).

Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the "Adopt" tab to see a list of those currently available in the PetSmart Adoption Center.

The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camille, a Oklahoma City Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
