Dolly's Story...
Good day everyone, my name is Dolly, and I am exactly that - such a doll! I am an 11 year old Boston Terrier mix with a heart of gold! I will be a very loving and loyal companion for some lucky family. People say I am a delight and I admit I am quite friendly and get along with everyone! I would have no problem living with other dogs and cats, as long as they don't mind me of course. In fact I would love to have a buddy to play with! I am always ready for a fun round of fetch, I just LOVE to chase tennis balls! Don't I just sound like the perfect pooch? Please fill out an application at and send it in so we can schedule a meet and greet! I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Portland Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
