for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Luke's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Luke's Story...
Luke and his littermates were recently rescued from a high kill shelter. He is approx. 13 weeks old Although he looks like purebred ACD, we believe he is a mix.

He is a very sweet boy and somewhat shy right now, but he has come out of his shell so much since coming into our rescue.

Please e-mail harlandogrescue@gmail.com for a pre-adoption application if you'd like to give Luke the forever home he deserves.
Because we require a home visit prior to finalizing adoptions we are only able to adopt to homes within 60 miles of Minneapolis.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Minneapolis Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
