Abigail's Story...
Meet Abigail. What an precious little girl she is,she is just as cute as she can be. Now take a look at those big puppy dog eyes, and see if you don't fall in love instantly with her. She gets along with everyone really good.Abigail is playful and would love for someone to teach her how to fetch and to take her on nice walks. Abigail will make a wonderful little dog for any family. A fact about Rat terriers is that they are very intelligent, alert and loving dogs. They are fast and very playful and are not yappers. They are easy to train and very eager to learn and please their owner. They are good with children especially if they are raised with them from puppyhood. So won't you give this adorable little girl a home. She will be ready to come to her new home on Feb 10, after her third set of shots. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Portland Rat Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
