Chico's Story...

COURTESY POSTING Chico 5yr old, male silver, use to living outside but training to be an inside dog. He has a lot of love to give and loves to play outside. Has lived with his mom and brother all his life but is not socialized with other dogs. A proper introduction may or may not work with Chico. He would be happy as an only dog and no cats. He would be best with a family with older kids, a home that is patient to finish training him to be an indoor dog or to be a farmer's best friend. Sioux Falls, SD call courtnee 605.214.6470

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chico, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
