Hello! My name is Mithril&Glenn
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, and in need of an experienced adopter.
Mithril and Glenn are now bonded. They are both very nice social rabbits and both love people. They are also power chewers and consume their Oxbow Bungalows forthwith and put away huge amounts of hay. They only like really top quality, yummy, green hay. Mithril has calmed down with her super digging somewhat but she still enjoys landscaping the bedding in her pool and they like to do laps together. They can often be heard binkying in the moonlight coming through their window and making a racket a truly crepuscular hours. They are a very charming couple and so sweet.
Glenn is a sweet mild-mannered rabbit, on the small side, very friendly with people and just an all around nice rabbit.
Mithril is the digger to beat all diggers, shoveler, should have been a sculptor. Returned due to this behavior. Needs a deep box to fling litter around in, full of joie de vivre no matter what. Well socialized with other rabbits, had an older companion who passed on and was returned after this. Loves people, binkies for joy every day. Loves her barley biscuits. Drinks from a wire rod sipper bottle. Eats hay like a horse.
Please review our shelter info and policies right here on Adopt A Pet and also on our website. Please no inquiries from minors or folks in transient situations.

Rescue Group Info...
We work to promote the viewpoint that all animals have an intrinsic value independent of what value humans may place upon them, they have a will-to-be. Our work is based on the Reverence for Life philosophy of Dr. Albert Schweitzer, Nobel Peace Prize winner 1952, for this philosophy which became the basis for the work of all rescue groups. We help animals and promote their viewpoint because it needs to be done. We are a small group of people who believe that every animal's life is valued by that animal so we rescue rabbits that would otherwise be destroyed or not taken in by any other rescue group. Our goal is to take the plain, the ordinary, and the unpopular colorings and raise awareness of their sentience as equal to the fancy rabbits who do manage to find homes the second time around.
As rabbits are prey animals who suffer great stress from change and transition in their lives, our adoption events are for approved adopters only. Bunny matches (rabbit introductions) are arranged as needed. We encourage all rabbit caretakers to keep more than one rabbit as a single rabbit spending many hours a day alone is a sad life for a highly social animal.
We require a veterinary reference and an adoption application filled out correctly and thoughtfully. See the FAQ section on our site for information on how to adopt. Our adoption fees vary from $50-100 depending on how long rabbit has been in foster, male or female. We have an ADOPTION APPLICATION and ADOPTION CONTRACT, home visit, and extensive education process for first time rabbit adopters since so much contradictory rabbit care information can be found online. Our website attempts to provide all the information an adopter will need for the lifetime of the rabbit. We have housing requirements as well, must be indoor pets and the habitat inside the house must be satisfactory. We have an extensive section on our website about this. Taking rabbit to a qualified exotics veterinarian is paramount.
