Chocolate's Story...
Here is Chocolate’s story, in her own words (she is a courtesy post):

I am Chocolate. I am 5 years old, and a sweet, friendly, playful girl. Not to mention my good looks, even with my crooked bottom teeth that give me character. I love people and children. My former owners left me to live alone, tethered to a tree with inadequate shelter. They agreed to surrender me so now I am waiting on my new family to give me the life I deserve. I am enjoying my new found freedom but need a patient family to allow me time to adjust to all the new things I am experiencing. I walk very well on leash and love to take walks! Will you be my new family? Love, Chocolate

(for more information about Chocolate or to obtain an application to adopt this sweet girl, please contact Holly at Chocolate will be spayed and up to date on vaccines prior to adoption)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chocolate, a Conyers Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Conyers, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
