Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dakota is a beautiful 1.5 year old Chihuahua with a smooth cream and white coat. This poor girl was found abandoned in a dumpster with her three puppies in Texas. Her puppies have been adopted out, but now this girl is looking for a forever home to call her very own. She is a wonderful loving pup who likes to cuddle and will sleep under the covers at night. The sweet girl will stand up on your leg for attention and will jump into your lap if you sit down. She is gentle and gets along well with other dogs as long as they are relatively gentle with her too. Dakota is ok with cats but does prefer to growl at them and chase them around, so she may do best in a home without feline friends. She likes to play with plush toys with both people and dogs but is generally a calm girl with just a little spunk. She is adventurous and can jump on and off furniture with ease. She will take the opportunity to eat unattended food if it is within reaching distance, but she is polite and does not try to steal food away from you. Dakota does not bark much and will only do so if she hears a knock on the door or is startled by someone coming in. She does well on leashed walks and is entirely housebroken. Dakota is a sweet little charmer who has been through many changes in her life, but takes them all in stride. Dakota is currently being fostered in New Milford, Connecticut, so she will have to be adopted in the New England area. What a wonderful addition she would make to any home looking for a new companion, she has been an absolute pleasure to foster.
