My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie is an intelligent and loyal companion. He wants to be considered as part of the family and enjoys opportunities to play with other dogs. He has the typical “Boxer” mentality and thinks he is a lap dog although he weighs just under 50 lbs. He is a young boy approximately 1 – 2 years old.

Archie is a very loyal dog and will bark when strangers come to the door but he warms up quickly and is friendly with people of all ages. He would be fine with respectful children and would love to have a home with a backyard where he and the kids could have a game of fetch. In the home he is quiet and more laid back enjoying being with his family and having a good cuddle on the couch.

Archie is fully house and crate trained and is currently left for 7 hours each day with no problems. When you go to bed at night he would love to come sleep on your bed but is fine being left in the crate.

Archie is a happy, high spirited, playful, curious and energetic dog. He is intelligent and quick to learn. He knows some commands such as come, sit, and down. He walks well on a leash and is friendly when meeting other dogs on his walks. He rides well in the car, enjoying his trips to the dog park and he plays nicely with everyone.

Archie really needs to feel that he is part of the family and that he is included in family outings. He craves affection and thinks he is a lap dog. He would be fine as the only dog in the home but would enjoy having another playful, friendly dog as a companion.

Loyal, loving and a bit of a clown, Archie will make a great family pet and companion.

If you would like to make him part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.
