Swimmy was rescued because her young owners did not realize the amount of work it takes to maintain aquatic turtles. She is a red-eared slider, and she is social, but a bit fearful of humans. She loves greens and shrimp, swimming in her spacious new tank, and will need at least a 55 gallon tank to start. She is a solitary girl and would be fine without company in her tank. If she is housed with another turtle, it must be a female and the tank must be at least 75 gallons.
