Dolche's Story...
Dolche was found lost and frightened in the middle of traffic in Phoenix. Luckily she was rescued and is recovering from the trauma in foster care. She is still a bit skittish and is easily frightened but she is now coming coming out of her shell and and is showing affection, putting her head in her foster moms lap. She is also starting to play a lot with the other dogs and sits and waits her turn politely when getting treats.

She has was even social with house guests, sniffing their hands and allowing them to pet her! We are really happy with her progress. Dolce is a great dog.

She is about 18 months old and weighs about 22 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolche, a Sedona Shiba Inu/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu/Chihuahua for sale in Sedona, or seeking a Shiba Inu/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sedona.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sedona already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sedona breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu/Chihuahua breeders who help with Shiba Inu/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sedona paves the way for another one to be saved.
