Roxy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Roxy's Story...
Roxy is a beautiful white german shepherd mix. She is 8 months old and 35 pounds, so she will only be a medium sized dog when full grown. She is playful and fun. She has had very little attention since she has been in a shelter for the past 3 months. She loves to be around people and dogs. She still acts like a puppy and loves to run and jump. She would be perfect for someone who is active and has time to spend with her. (TIA)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Windham German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Windham, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
