Lilo's Story...

Lilo and his buddy Stitch found themselves at a county facility when thier elderly owners could no longer care for them. Lilo has a bit of trouble seeing sometimes but that does not slow him down one bit; he hears just fine and loves to be near his people for affection. He is very sweet and we believe he is housebroken as he has been in a home most of his life. He also gets along with other dogs. Lilo has been neutered, micro-chipped and is up to date on all his vaccines. He is living in a foster home so please contact us if you would like to meet this sweet boy! He'll be waiting for you!

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a registered nonprofit, volunteer-based, no-kill organization. Started in 1993 Friends for Life maintains an adoption center for it's rescued animals, a low-cost spay and neuter program (grant-funded), and a network of foster homes. Friends for Life also attends off-site locations to adopt the homeless cats and dogs and the organization is always looking for help. Friends for Life does not have a veterinarian on site or on staff. We utilize discounted services of veterinarians kind enough to do so for our rescued animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilo, a Gilbert Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
