My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Curtis and Cecilia are a brother-sister pair, and what a pair they are! These kittens were born in September 2011, and they've been on the move ever since. A box, a bag, a ball, a speck on the wall--anything can be a toy for these two. Even for kittens, these two are packed with extra energy and we are looking for a home where their rambunctious antics will be appreciated. That means a home where their people have time to spend playing with them every day, and which isn't full of delicate, valuable objects. Curtis and Cecilia are closely bonded and must be adopted as a pair.

Although they are young and frisky, Curtis and Cecilia are learning house manners, including staying off the counters and not scratching the furniture. They have their own scratching posts and cardboard pads, and are agreeable about having their nails trimmed. Their litter box habits are excellent, and they have no special food or medical needs, other than high quality kibble and some canned food every day to keep them strong and healthy as they grow up.

Once they've burned up their energy quota for the day, Curtis and Cecilia do love to snuggle on a lap for quiet time. If they get lots of play time during the day, they'll sleep all night, and they expect to sleep on the bed with their people. So far they love all the people and cats they have met, but we haven't tested them with dogs and toddlers.

Curtis and Cecilia, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Curtis and Cecilia, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
