Marge Pup's Story...
Meet Marge.. She is one of 7 puppies born from a beautiful orphaned black lab named Kassidy. We think Dad was also a black lab because all pups are black and look like mom. Marge and her siblings were born on December 16 so they will be ready for adoption by February 10th. Mom and 7 pups were fostered in a private home with prenatal care, lots of love, socialization and care. Mom (Kassidy) is the sweetest dog ever and if Marge and her siblings have 1/2 of her temperment, wow - what a great pet! AGK requires for all puppies this age to have a stay at home or work at home parent. And another dog in the house is a plus. Please watch the video about Kassidy and her story here at to learn more. If you are interested in adopting Marge or one of her siblings, please go to our website at to fill out an application. NOTE: Their adoption fee is reduced to $300, which includes to up to date on vetting and $100 reimbursement for spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marge Pup, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
