Vanessa's Story...
Vanessa is a 2-year-old black/white cat. She is absolutely terrified at the shelter. She buries her head in your arms and shakes when you hold her. We really want her to find a special person who can bring her out of her shell and make her feel secure and loved. She is not aggressive and seems to do well with other cats. Her green eyes are beautiful. Please consider adopting her. Vanessa is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $56.00.

Come visit Vanessa at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours M-F 1-5:30 p.m. and Saturday 1-4:30 p.m.
You can call/text 361-438-3232 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vanessa, a Corpus Christi Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
