Molly has gained a new lease on life and is now an affectionate, playful and positively adorable little girl.
Here is what her foster family had to say:
Molly is a sweet, cuddly, people pleaser. She wants to be with people all the time but is perfectly okay to chill and just wait for her us when we go out. She loves to run and play outside and enjoys her walks. She is friendly with everyone including children of all ages. She has never shown any aggression but can be a bit bossy when other dogs want to play with her toys. She is curious with the cats and the bird but never tries to hurt them.
Although Molly is crate trained we do not use a crate for her as she can be trusted to have the run of the house with no issues. She has no separation anxiety and although she wants to go with us everywhere, she is fine left home on her own. She can be a little bit shy when she meets new people but that doesn't last long and she is soon wanting you to be her best friend.
Molly is non-shedding but will need to be groomed from time to time to keep her looking her best. She is sporting a shorter hair cut at the moment because of her matting and such but it will grow out. She is healthy and her coat is now smooth and shiny. She still seems to have some puppy-ness about her and can be rambunctious and playful. I am sure she is feeling very good after being matted for so long - she probably feels like a huge weight has been lifted off her and she can now see!!
Molly doesn't have any formal training but she listens well and is eager to please her people. She is house trained but doesn't yet know how to tell you she needs to go so for now we are just continuing to put her out frequently. She rides well in the car and is leash trained. Overall she has great manners and there is no concerns when leaving her full run of the house.
She is a very loyal dog and even when she escaped from our backyard it was just so she could follow me. Molly will make a wonderful companion and best friend. She just wants to be with you and to be loved.
