Spike's Story...
I'm Spike. I am about 3 years old and was found by some nice people about a year ago. I live outside with a smaller female dog and we have fun and get along great! Unfortunately, there is another male dog that lives where I am and we don't get along very well so he lives inside to keep us apart. I am very gentle and great with kids and people. I get along with female dogs, but not so much with other males. I am a really good dog just looking for a good home where I can have a yard to run and play.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Glenpool American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Glenpool, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Glenpool.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenpool already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenpool breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenpool paves the way for another one to be saved.
