Chella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chella's Story...
Chella is a very affectionate doxie-beagle mix. She loves burrowing in blankets, cuddling and calm gentle playing. Chella gets along with other dogs and people but is shy at first; it takes about a day for her to warm up to somebody. Sometimes men make her anxious, but Chella is always polite. She walks well on a leash and is very nice to strangers. She is very food motivated! Chella is not completely potty trained but is learning how to express her need to go outside, and accidents are rare. She would do best in a less active household; her favorite activities are snuggling, sleeping, and cuddling. Chella is looking for her forever home in the local NYC area!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chella, a New York Beagle/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in New York, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
