My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chella is a very affectionate doxie-beagle mix. She loves burrowing in blankets, cuddling and calm gentle playing. Chella gets along with other dogs and people but is shy at first; it takes about a day for her to warm up to somebody. Sometimes men make her anxious, but Chella is always polite. She walks well on a leash and is very nice to strangers. She is very food motivated! Chella is not completely potty trained but is learning how to express her need to go outside, and accidents are rare. She would do best in a less active household; her favorite activities are snuggling, sleeping, and cuddling. Chella is looking for her forever home in the local NYC area!
