Ralphie's Story...
Hi, my name is Ralphie and I was surrendered to the shelter with my mom Hope and my brothers & sisters because my owner had too many dogs. I'm about 6 weeks old and I'm looking for a responsible forever home that has the time to properly train, socialize and love me! I will be adopted out with a neuter contract which includes a deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof that I have been altered, which MUST be done by the time I'm six months old! I will also need my series of shots! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number!

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Act quickly to adopt Ralphie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie, a Ladysmith Collie/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Collie/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Collie/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
