Lydia's Story...
Meet Lydia! She is a precious little yellow lab mix between 6 and 9 months old. She LOVES water…especially splashing in her water bowl! She gets along great with all other dogs, size doesn't matter. She has not met a cat yet, so we are not sure how she would do. She is in a foster home working on her house training and is doing very well. If this pretty girl has stolen your heart, let us know and we will get you started with our adoption process!
All of our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and Alabama. Our adoption fee includes all vetting, microchip, health certificate and USDA certified transport to your area. We are a non profit organization and adoptions are considered charitable contributions on your income taxes. If you are interested in this little guy, please request an application at forrescuetn@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lydia, a Nanuet Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Nanuet, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Nanuet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanuet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanuet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanuet paves the way for another one to be saved.
