Meet CJ Brown
CJ is a golden mix. He weighs 46 lbs, but is still growing. He will be a nice size when he is done filling in.We have no idea what he is mixed with. He was picked up as a stray and never reclaimed. He is a young boy, maybe around a year old. He is a very attractive and social. He is hit and miss with other dogs and may do better as an only pet...however he seems to do fine with cats. He loves people, is playful, and seems to already know "sit" for a treat. We hope to know more about CJ soon. In the mean time, if he has tugged at your heart, please let us know and we will get you started with the adoption process. Cat test video available upon request.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CJ Brown, a Hamburg Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
