Maggie Mae's Story...
Maggie Mae is a female Light Torti Maine Coon mix DLH Orange, Brown and black she is 6 years old. Maggie was rescued by a kind retired man that has 3 rescued dogs, he found her in a pet crate with her toys on his apartment door step obviously abandoned when her family had moved away. Because he was at his limit of 3 pets the apartment complex gave him just a few days to remove one of the animals or be evicted. Maggie is very sweet and loving loves to be brushed, she likes dogs and children, She is spayed UTD on vaccines. You can meet-and-greet to get to know the cat of your choice or meet several cats to choose from at scheduled adoption events Saturday or Sunday afternoon at Tractor Supply Company Concord NC Please email for event schedule at lknanimalshelter@aol.com, or Visit us on FB at Friends for Life Cat Adoptions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie Mae, a Harrisburg Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
