Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bill is named in appreciation for amazing foster Bill Sola with thanks from all at MLAR! "despite the fact that he was dumped after years with his owner, he remains so sweet and cheerful and one of those dogs that "connects" with people and just wants to please. You can tell how confused he is to be in this little cage, desperately waiting and hoping that his owner will come back for him. But you can tell that although he will never see his uncaring owner again, he waits and hopes. He was in his cage just begging me to pay him 5 minutes of attention and affection. I got him out and he has the cutest most endearing happy prance. I am at a loss for words to express how adorable this dog is. He would give me this big smile and prance some more--it made me laugh despite his sad situation. When we got to the grass, how the simple joy of smelling that had been denied him for weeks in a cage gave him happiness. When Rita sat down next to him he just burrowed his head in the crook of her arm to be close to her. He kissed her and just beamed his million dollar "smile" , so glad of life, so happy for the love he was getting in that moment, so optimistic that he was "going home." -The plea for Bill, the "prancing pointer" that MLAR responded to, from Chela, a volunteer at SLA animal shelter.
