Fiona's Story...
LOOKING FOR A FAMILY DOG ?Fiona was adopted about a year ago, due to shift in the fmaily they must return her. She is just under 2 years old and as cute as can be. She is a very unique dog, with that cute Bull Terrier nose and stout little body. Fiona is exceptionally beautiful in person and everyone comments on that. She LOVES other dogs, ADORES kids and she is even great with the cat (he is clearly the boss of her!) She is such a love bug and just soaks up attention from anyone who will give it to her. Fiona is a happy girl, her tail is always wagging and she is always wiggling and smiling. She was originally picked up as a stray at a school playground where she was just hanging out and playing with the kids. She is an awesome dog! Fiona is 55 pounds of pure love! Everywhere Fiona has been, the vets office, out on walks, people all say how special she is! Fiona does not have a mean bone in her body and is going to make a great family dog! To find out more info on this very extra special girl, contact Jen at (630) 205-1701 or go to www.animalheartline.org and fill out an application. We are a small group of caring volunteers, and a home visit is requirement of adoption, therefore local adoptions only please (i.e., 50 miles of Naperville/Chicago). NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS! Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Lombard Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
