Goliath's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Goliath's Story...
Goliath is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing him as a courtesy to his owner and we will help screen applications.

Goliath is a 6-year-old neutered male Siberian Husky. He is affectionate with adults and children and only barks if he needs to out to potty or if a stranger approaches. Goliath is a little cautious with strange men but warms up quickly. He is a very affectionate dog. Goliath hasn't lived with another dog but has been playful with the neighbor's dogs. It's doubtful that he would be good with cats. He is housetrained.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested and on monthly heartworm preventative year-round.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goliath, a Belleville Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
