Liza's Story...
Miss Liza is a very sweet, demure black dane. She will be 2 yrs old on Feb 17th!!!!! She is looking for a forever family to celebrate her b'day with, will that be you???

If you would like to help with her care while she is in rescue, please go our homepage: and click on Donate!!! Thank you for caring.

This dear girl was wandering the streets of North Phoenix with her mom b4 coming into rescue. She loves having a foster family, a home with a soft bed, friends to play with and food on a regular basis! Her foster family has kids & other pets and they all get along very well! Liza's leash manners are not the best as yet but they are working on that for her new family!

She is very puppy and playful! She has not needed to be crated but in her foster home, someone is always home. They also have an older dane who Liza takes her ques from! You really have to meet Liza to appreciate how very special she is!

If you would like to meet this sweetie, call or email the Alliance to set up an appt with her foster family!!! A home check and meet & greet with all family members is required. There is an adoption contract and an adoption fee of $400.00. 623 869-0409 Msg line ...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liza, a Phoenix Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
